Offer your child's chance to come and discover and learn with us when filming clay on the pottery tour! This initiation workshop will allow him to familiarize himself with the practice of ceramics and to perform a first overflight of the different stages necessary for the manufacture of a part of hand shot on a potter tower, that is to say the realization of 'A cup or a bowl. The teacher will demonstrate the technique and the different stages and then accompany the child in this first experience. The result is never guaranteed during a first initiation to the turn to pottery but the pleasure is still! Your child will be able to participate alone in the initiation to pottery or you can accompany it during the workshop (he is nevertheless the only participant in the initiation).
* The workshop is for a period of 2:30 and you must be equipped with closed shoes, an apron and suitable clothing. At the end of the workshop, the participant will be able to select his favorite piece in the rooms he will have made, a piece per participant. We will then make the necessary cooking and the enameling of the part (glaze). The deadlines to come and collect your finalized part at the workshop is about 1 month after the course is held.
* Also take note that it happens that a piece is breaking during one of the cooking or that it does not continue through all the necessary steps and treatments, ceramics is a long and tedious process and Unfortunately, we do not control everything with the art of fire. In this sense, we cannot be held responsible for the broken parts during this process. It is important to keep in mind that learning, acquired experience and pleasure take precedence over the results obtained in ceramic!
